We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our team here at Ledcor Technical Services. Reporting to the General Manager Operations, Business Field Services, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing the organization's financial and operational performance. This role will focus on profit and loss statements, cost analyses, understanding probabilities, trends, and distributions, and analyzing quantitative data to drive business improvements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor financial and operational performance trends
  • Perform cost analyses, including expenses, Overtime Pay, and Field Dispatch Premium Pay
  • Draw conclusions and make recommendations to stakeholders to highlight opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Review and analyze profit and loss statements for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Identify financial levers to improve key processes or structures
  • Analyze probabilities, trends, and distributions to provide business performance insights
  • Ensure daily reporting matches production time, including reviewing Overtime pay and Field Dispatch Premium pay
  • Advise on business and process improvement opportunities
  • Ensure accuracy of expense coding and validate expenses before billing customers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (VP, General Manager, Directors, etc.)
  • Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • PMP, Lean, Six Sigma certifications are preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in business improvement, business transformation, and/or project controller roles
  • Experience in operational excellence, telecommunications, or similar industrial-based industries is preferred
  • Management consulting experience from a large professional consulting practice is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Power BI skills are advantageous.

Work Conditions:

  • This position provides a flexible working environment, balancing your responsibilities between the comfort of your home office and the collaborative environment of our office spaces
  • Travel up to 25% of the time across the United States
