Overview
Job Purpose Intercontinental Exchange is seeking an International Tax Senior Manager to join the tax group in our Atlanta headquarters. The International Tax Senior Manager should demonstrate deep international tax knowledge and problem solving ability, and be able to manage and work with multiple internal and external team members in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Lead the US international tax process, including gathering and standardizing the format of global financial information, assessing the tax technical aspects of all US international tax and information returns, managing internal and external resources, and tax software system coordination.
- Design and review the Company's calculations and processes relating to E&P, Subpart F income, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credits.
- Monitor and analyze tax legislation to determine the impact from a tax compliance and tax accounting perspective.
- Assist in analyzing the financial reporting of tax implications arising from the Company's global operations and transactions.
- Coordinate with external advisors and service providers on a regular basis.
- Review intercompany agreement schedules and all transfer pricing documentation used for compliance and planning purposes, as necessary.
- Coordinate various special projects, research international technical tax matters, and prepare memoranda to document conclusions.
- Ensure that all filing deadlines are met in compliance with the Company's tax calendar.
Knowledge and Experience
- A CPA is preferred but not required.
- Requires 7+ years of international tax experience working in multiple areas involving compliance, tax accounting, audit support and/or planning.
- Experience with a top tier accounting firm and/or a large U.S. multinational corporation required.
- Solid understanding and application of ASC 740 is preferred.
- Knowledge of Thomson Reuters OneSource RS tax software, OneSource Provision software, Oracle, and/or other related financial software preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in leading direct reports.
- Demonstrated staff mentoring and project management experience.
- Experience with process improvement, proactively streamlining procedures and reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated work paper documentation skills.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in an accounting, tax, or finance discipline (Masters Degree in Taxation is preferred)
