SUMMARY: The Rotational Program provides recent college graduates with an opportunity to contribute to the organization's success through a series of varied work assignments. This position is part of the Kraft Sports & Entertainment Leadership Development Program, during which the Sports Management Intern will support 3 different areas: Sports Operations; Marketing & Sales; and Business Operations (HR/IT/Finance) over a 12-month period. The ideal candidates will be highly motivated, organized and interested in high performance and learning about the inner workings of the professional sports industry. Continued employment beyond the scheduled end date is not guaranteed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Sports Operations: Work closely with the stadium operations team on work assignments during both event and non-event days. Assignments may include individual or team-based projects for, but not limited to, parking, security, food and beverage, and facility operations. Duties may include but are not limited to quality control, staff supervision, fan engagement, inventory management, and event coordination and support.
  2. Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with corporate partnership, sales operations and sales/service teams to: fulfill contractual obligations for corporate partners; to activate partnerships via assets and programming; to recap deliverables and ROI; to research new and emerging opportunities for revenue generation; to provide exceptional service to corporate partners, premium members and season ticket holders.
  3. Functional Business Assignment: Assignments will vary including, but not limited to, finance/accounting, information technology, and human resources. Responsibilities will include exposure to foundational support deliverables needed to better prepare the Sports Management candidate in their broader business acumen understanding. Foundational deliverables may include entry level recruiting and onboarding, employee communications, basic accounting assignments and projects, basic data analysis, and/or IT administration or entry level technical support.
  4. Special Projects and assignments as business dictates.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Recent graduate (last 2 years) of university, community college, or graduate school, or recently separated (within the last 2 years) military veteran
  • Preference given to candidates who are from the New England area or attended a New England area school
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in adapting to change
  • Reliable and able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Service and team oriented with a positive attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
