Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with 1-4 years of relevant experience to join the Estate Planning Practice Group in our Madison office. Foley's Estate Planning attorneys provide the full range of sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and wealth management advice to individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations.
Qualified candidates should have solid estate plan drafting, estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax planning, and business succession planning experience. Specifically, candidates should have some experience drafting complex estate plan and business succession planning documents for high net worth individuals, drafting complex charitable giving documents, counseling clients on income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning, assisting with probate proceedings for taxable and non-taxable estates, processing Federal gift and estate tax returns, and tax exempt organization planning. The ideal candidate will have strong document drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate, who has a strong desire to contribute to a team. Top academics and experience required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the jurisdiction(s) in which the candidate is admitted to practice.
