Inside the Role

Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA's core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.

Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

Employee Benefits manages, maintains and helps round out an employee's Total Rewards experience. The Employee Benefits Intern supports the team in various benefits programs for the best employee experience possible.

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $30 per hour.

What You Drive at DTNA

  • The Active Benefits Intern will be supporting the team with:
  • Employee communications
  • Benefits program analysis & budgeting
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Benefit plan document review
  • Supporting vendor management activities
  • Help educate employees in company benefits

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's/PhD Program from an accredited college/university or have graduated within the last 12 months.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented approach to work; ability to analyze data, etc.
  • Goal oriented with a date driven approach to completing assignments.
  • Must be a self-motivator, quick learner, and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Creative mindset
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with Workday
  • Previous experience or classwork in Human Resources or Benefits Administration
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employee benefits
