Lumos is looking for a full-time Warehouse Attendant! Are you a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for coordination and inventory management? We're looking for a Warehouse Attendant who is eager to play a critical role in supporting our operations by managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our warehouse operations, ensuring our team has everything they need to keep projects moving smoothly!

As a Warehouse Attendant, you'll be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments from both internal and external customers. You'll keep inventory accurate and organized, ensuring materials are ready for technicians and contractors whenever they need them. Whether it's stocking shelves, performing cycle counts, or prepping gear for installation, you'll be the one making sure everything is in place and running efficiently.

Essential Functions:



  • Distribute equipment to technicians and contractors, while also managing stocking, ordering, allocating, shipping, and receiving materials.
  • Respond to field emails and input data into the relevant operating systems to ensure accurate tracking and communication.
  • Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including material management, time reporting, order clearing, inventory counting, and conducting audits.
  • Perform testing on equipment such as DSL and set-top boxes and manage the shipping and receiving of modems.
  • Be prepared to travel to other warehouses on short notice (less than 24 hours) to provide coverage when necessary.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:



  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with computers and proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills to keep things running smoothly.
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Inventory Experience: Proven experience with physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Customer and Team Relations: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with both employees and customers.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to safely use extension ladders and/or step ladders and lift up to 75 lbs. when necessary.
  • Forklift Operation: Ability to safely operate a forklift.



Other Experience & Requirements:



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of warehouse experience; prior telecom experience is a plus.
  • License & Certifications: Valid state driver's license; forklift certification is a plus.
