Position: Warranty Data Analyst

Location: Allen Park, MI.


OEM is looking for Warranty Data Analyst to help with data mining information to help with identifying labor trends within the warranty repair division. Work with dashboards to filter out data (be able to look at the information to identify anomalies, trends etc...).


Qualifications:


  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • 2 + years' experience in a data analytics role including running queries, compiling data, and manipulating data from separate sources to form unified sets for analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with proven abilities to communicate complex topics to leaders and peers in a simple, clear, plan oriented manner.
  • Ability to work in an environment where problems are not always well-defined.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Well-organized, a self-starter, independent and ready to work with minimal direction.
  • Proficient in the use of Pivot Tables within Excel.


Responsibilities to Include but not limited to:

  • Apply analytical and quantitative techniques to identify high warranty spend areas.
  • Extract insights from structured and unstructured data sets that are often large and multi-dimensional.
  • Investigate high warranty spend areas to identify labor cost opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to implement cost save initiatives.
