Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure the evidence of technology change is compliant with the Enterprise Change Standards of client
  • Work in close partnership with Project and Program Managers to coordinate, review evidence, and ensure gaps in alignment and non-compliance are addressed timely
  • Support any project administrative tasks as needed such as help identify resolution to project data quality issues, assist with project financial tracking, etc.
  • Support multiple Project Managers/projects and will coach/train/guide them on client standards
  • Maintain SME knowledge of the clients change standards through regular training and connection to the PMO communities of practice
  • Promote standards in evidence gathering, approval procedures and other routines, including training decks and/or videos where appropriate, to yield standardization and efficiency across teams
  • Conduct internal reviews and targeted assessment to confirm evidence is aligned in all SORs properly and meets the standards
  • Provide onboarding for new Project Managers and ongoing coaching for change standards and tool updates to avoid common Quality Assurance (QA) failure points
  • Report on compliance metrics to highlight successes and drive continual improvement
  • Partner with PMOs to appeal and remediate QA disputes
  • Facilitate routine forums to foster change community of practice, answer questions related to the change standards and increase overall success rate of key metrics
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed
  • Partner with PMO Change Leadership on strategic tools and process implementation
  • Identify and advocate for organization needs during requirements gathering
  • Coordinate organization communications, training, and adoption


Requirements:



  • 7+ years of relevant experience in technology project management/project delivery or project QA roles (e.g., governance / change management)
  • Adaptable/Flexible to respond to changing standards, processes and tools
  • Track record of self-starter, taking ownership and driving assigned tasks to completion while maintaining attention to detail
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate enterprise policy and procedure changes downstream to Program and Project Managers
  • Coaching and influencing Program and Project Managers to follow Enterprise Changes Standards
  • Intermediate/Expert MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Jira, and SharePoint
  • Able to analyze data, create Excel pivot tables that showcase trends in the data
  • Able to engage with senior management / executive level management
  • Able to understand the various evidence of technological change, understand and navigate through the tools where the evidence is kept, understand various reports, and the Enterprise Change Standards to perform this role


Desired skills:



  • Prior experience in similar role
  • Familiarity with clients Enterprise Change Standards, delivery processes and tools (PPRT, Jira, Release Manager, Remedy, CECE)
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology
