Job Title: QC Analyst III (Contract)

Shift: Friday to Monday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QC Analyst III to join our Quality Control team. This contract role requires a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience in GMP laboratories, specializing in either QC Chemistry or QC Microbiology. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Perform testing and analysis within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.



  • Conduct HPLC/UPLC testing using Empower software (for Chemistry-focused candidates).



  • Perform microbiological testing, including Bioburden, endotoxin, conductivity, and TOC (for Microbiology-focused candidates).



  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.



  • Troubleshoot and resolve analytical and microbiological issues as needed.



  • Support laboratory investigations, method validations, and stability studies.



  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, and industry regulations.



  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QC, QA, and manufacturing teams to address quality concerns.




Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.



  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory (QC Chemistry or QC Microbiology).



  • For QC Chemistry: Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC and Empower software is required.



  • For QC Microbiology: Experience in Bioburden, endotoxin, conductivity, and TOC testing is required.



  • Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, USP, EP, ICH).



  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.



  • Ability to work Friday to Monday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM schedule.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience with additional laboratory techniques relevant to QC Chemistry or Microbiology.



  • Previous experience working in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.



  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
