Genesis10 is seeking a Junior Application Security Engineer for a contract with our client in Wayzata, MN. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00-4:00 PM CST Job Description: Client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Security Engineer to join our global application security team. In this entry-level role, you will primarily focus on onboarding security tooling, maintaining documentation, and supporting developers in integrating security into the development process. You'll also help partner and manage security exceptions within our SDLC. This role will also focus on other application security related activities that support our strategy and deliverables. Key Responsibilities: * Onboarding Security Tooling (Checkmarx, SysDig, WiZ, GitGuardian) * Manage Security Exceptions with SDLC * Writing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Documentation * Support Developers and Engineers * Continuous Improvement Required Basic Qualifications: * 1 to 2 years of experience in IT, development, DevOps, or a related technical role (internship or academic experience will also be considered). * Experience writing documentation * Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $28- $32 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
