Requisition ID:75033 Job Description As a Staff Product Engineer, you will be working as a core member of the product engineering team in Irvine to bring Skyworks DRx/GPS products into high volume manufacturing. You will be expected to closely interface with engineers across multiple functional teams (design, process, reliability and test) to solve complex problems. This position includes responsibility for both new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining previously released products (ex: cost reduction efforts, TTR, yield enhancements, etc.). Therefore, your expertise will be required to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Though limited, there might be needs to travel in order to facilitate successful product releases. Core Responsibilities New Product Introduction (NPI) for DRx/GPS product lines Develop production (ATE) test specifications Probe, ATE and Characterization data analysis and summary reports Create and manageproduct documentation Provide product development support, including interfacing with Design, Test, Quality Engineering, and others Driving cost reduction activities such as second sources qualification, yield enhancement, test time reduction, etc. Required Experience and Skills Position requires BS and 8 years experience or MS and 6 years Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent Strong RF understanding, Strong data analysis skills, Electronics manufacturing knowledge, Ability to debug production and development issues (ATE issues, DOEs, etc) Displays strong communications across various platforms (email, Word, PPT, etc) Desired Experience and Skills Microsoft Office applications proficiency(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with technical documents and datasheets Strong organizational capabilities #LI-DL1 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$112,500 -$215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
