Exciting Opportunity for someone with inventory experience. This is a temp to perm Entry level Stockroom Clerk to help support a busy local Manufacturing Company in all areas related to inventory control to ensure compliance with inventory procedures and transactions. Kitting if parts to manufacturing order pick lists. Perform Daily cycle counts. Provide customer support to manufacturing staff. Must be computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Internet Explorer and Deltek) Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations. May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment. High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience. Physical Requirements Ability to carry boxes and work in high heat/cold environments, under industrial conditions, in confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme weather.
