Brand Transition Release and Logistics Coordinator - this is a W2 Contract role
* Fully Remote - $70-85 per hour
* East Coast Work hours - 8 am to 5 pm but will vary depending on business needs - role supports multiple locations globally.
* 11-month (extension possible) contract role.
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management with Certifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Regulatory Affairs.
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Brand Transition Release and Logistics Coordinator to manage our product's journey from production through to delivery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between our production plants, logistics partners, regulatory partners, and internal teams. This role is crucial in ensuring that our supply chain operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with corporate strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Product Tracking: Interface with Planning, Manufacturing and Logistics teams to track product through our supply chain. Understand when first shipments of new products will take place and track though to when products are received and ready on shelf at our distribution centers. Proactively update teams on planned arrivals and any exceptions.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing plants, logistics teams, regulatory partners, and internal departments to ensure smooth and compliant product flow.
* Executive Reporting: Prepare and present regular executive updates detailing progress, potential risks, and strategic recommendations.
* Risk Management: Identify potential regulatory and logistical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
* Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve processes related to regulatory compliance and shipping logistics to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* Documentation and Record Keeping: Create/Update/Maintain work instructions related to brand transition and other logistics processes, shipping records, and compliance checks as required.
* Hands On Approach: This role requires a hands-on problem-solving approach, in some cases developing reporting in Excel or Power BI and good communications skills. This role will provide weekly updates through scorecards and other forms of communication, they will meet with the project team to update status, discuss exceptions and develop risk mitigation actions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
* Minimum of +5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or regulatory affairs, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
* Strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements related to shipping and manufacturing.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, for creating executive-level presentations.
* Project Management certification preferred (years of experience)
* Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Experience with SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Regulatory Affairs.
