As a Senior Payroll Manager specializing in the ECP Module within SuccessFactors, you will play a pivotal role as our payroll team's SAP ECP subject matter expert. Your expertise will be crucial in critically reviewing and analyzing current payroll procedures and recommending and implementing best-practice operations. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with our Human Resources, Benefits, IT, and Compensation teams to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensures data accuracy by monitoring data flows between different systems and performing data cleansing and validation activities.
  • Oversees the complete payroll cycle, including time and attendance data import, calculations, generating paychecks, and filing payroll tax returns.
  • Responsible for administering multistate tax filings and reporting activities across federal, state, and local levels, including tax withholding requirements and garnishments/lien requirements.
  • Partner closely with various stakeholders (Finance, Tax, Compensation & Benefits, HR Business Partners) to ensure payroll is processed per defined procedures, guidelines, legal requirements.
  • Expert resource for troubleshooting SAP ECP errors, managing exception scenarios, and handling corrections.
  • Lead integration of newly acquired companies into SAP ECP and Workforce Software.
  • Ensure accurate administration of collectively bargained agreement provisions in SAP ECP and Workforce Software.
  • Partner with broader HR team to ensure all SAP ECP and Workforce Software updates are implemented, tested, and communicated effectively.
  • Design and implement workflows and internal controls within systems to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business, or other relevant or related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience using SAP Employee Central (EC) and SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to oversee the administration of multi-state payrolls for large exempt and non-exempt workforces.
  • Demonstrated success leading and training an existing payroll team new to using SAP ECP.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting SAP ECP integrations with multiple 3rd party vendors.
  • Knowledge of other SAP SuccessFactors products.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex payroll data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to create positive customer experiences, ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively communicate.
  • Strong project management experience.



Salary: $127,466-$163,332 annually. A starting salary higher than $127,466 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
