Shifts available/hours: 5am-3pm Monday-Thursday
Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate milling center as assigned by team leader.
  • Check all material for visual defects to ensure the material is not scratched, dented, bent, etc.
  • Guage work piece to ensure meets drawing specifications before and after machining, as needed, withcalipers, micrometers, and other necessary measuring devices. Must stop production and contact team leaderwhen quality problems arise.
  • Deburring with hand tools as necessary, before and after machining.
  • Maintains machinery and equipment in good working condition, i.e. oil, coolant.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area for all. Good housekeeping is a must.
  • Ensures all applicable safety equipment is in proper working order before operating the CNC machiningcenter, any machine, or performing assembly work. Report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Disposes of all waste materials in proper containers.
  • Complete all necessary inspection and production paperwork.
  • Report all material shortages to the team leader or material handler before running out of material.
  • Ensure that correct HALNA part numbers, customer part numbers, and piece counts are marked on eachpackage that is sent to the next operation or packaged for shipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper tool inventory and assuring that required perishable tooling is on hand.
  • Must be willing to cross train on other automated machines throughout the plant, as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned by team leader.

Education & experience requirements:

  • Ability to read & comprehend blueprints.
  • Ability to properly utilize measuring devices.
