• Process and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and appeals to maximize reimbursement.
• Manage accounts receivable and perform collections on past-due accounts.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts.
• Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all federal/state regulations.

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing and collections (specialty experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of insurance claim processing, denials, and appeals.
• Experience working with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing.
• Knowledge of payment posting and reconciliation.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
