Advantage Resourcing has joined forces with a leading medical manufacturing company, seeking a skilled Senior Engineering Technician in Woodstock, CT. Join our dynamic team and contribute to over 80 years of industry-leading innovation across diverse markets. Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/yr. Schedule: Day shift Responsibilities: Conduct research, build prototypes, and inspect electronic products. Troubleshoot, assemble, install, and repair electronic components and PCBAs. Hand solder fine-pitch surface mount components (IPC-A-610 & IPC-A-620 preferred). Interpret wiring diagrams, circuit schematics, and mechanical drawings. Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. Maintain inventory control of electronic components and tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office and diagnostic PC software, with PCB layout experience as a plus. Qualifications: Associates degree and 5 years of experience or 7+ years of experience in electronics work. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, computer skills, SolidWorks software knowledge, understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes. Personal characteristics would include detailed oriented, be able to communicate effectively, be able to multi-task, be a quick study, can prioritize workload and effectively work in a team environment. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
