Advantage Resourcing is partnering with a top-tier medical manufacturing company to hire an Electrical Software Engineer in Woodstock, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that has been driving innovation for over 80 years across multiple industries. Salary: $80,000 - $120,000/yr. Schedule: Day shift Responsibilities: Develop and implement embedded firmware for hardware components. Design and integrate circuit boards into product offerings. Create control systems and instruments for commercial and industrial applications. Ensure manufacturing and operational testing meet specifications and customer needs. Troubleshoot and debug digital hardware using engineering tools. Utilize computer-aided design and engineering software for development tasks. Conduct quality and performance analysis on new technologies and report findings. Qualifications: Five years of relevant experience. Expertise in embedded software and firmware development using C and C++. Experience integrating software and hardware with UART, CAN, SPI, and I2C for microcontrollers. Strong background in wireless technologies, including Zigbee and BLE. Proficiency in circuit board design, electrical systems, and schematic reading. Skilled in software configuration management, documentation, and peer review processes.
