Advantage xPO is hiring an experienced Electrician in Phoenix, AZ, for a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure. Our client serves mission-critical sectors including financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and education. If you have at least seven years of experience as an Electrician in a commercial setting, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay: $36.50 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

As an Electrician, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on all electrical systems within a medical campus environment.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure lighting systems are in working order
  • Maintain and repair electrical switchgear, distribution equipment, and other electrical systems according to specifications
  • Work on campus-wide systems such as emergency power, lighting controls, mass notification, and fire alarms
  • Stay proficient in the electrical distribution system for each building on the campus
  • Create and maintain single-line drawings and distribution maps for the electrical system
  • Follow blueprints and specifications while complying with national and local electrical codes
  • Maintain records of electrical maintenance activities and perform necessary tests
  • Install wiring, switches, receptacles, and other electrical devices per national electrical codes
  • Complete work orders and preventive maintenance paperwork efficiently
  • Participate in weekly Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency

Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of experience as an Electrician in a commercial setting (experience with clinical-specific electrical systems, electrical switchgear, distribution equipment, and generators is a plus)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to work extended hours or weekends when necessary
  • Strong knowledge of national electrical codes, life safety codes, and NFPA 70E Arc Flash Protection standards
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, and communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
