Accounts Payable Specialist

Qualifications:

• An associate degree in accounting
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail & excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming mail and emails ensuring proper distribution and timely review.
• Audit and authorize invoices for accuracy, compliance, and eligibility for payment.
• Prepare open transactions for month-end close.
• Investigate and resolve issues from vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of vendor relationships, processes, and ongoing projects within the department.
• Reconcile vendor statements, accounts, and credit card transactions, addressing discrepancies with invoice processors.
• Assist the accounts payable manager with daily functions.
• Perform other accounting and clerical tasks as needed.

Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM | $18 - $19 per hour
