Job Summary

The Senior Business Operations Analyst will report to the Senior Leader of Field Operations. This position serves as the primary nexus to stakeholder groups. They have intimate knowledge of a specific operating area of the organization and are given authority to prioritize analyses, coordinate work products and represent the entirety of the organization in key forums. Majority of the work products they produce will not be productionized in nature; most recurring reporting, data modeling/engineering, and ML will be conducted by requisite teams in the organization but will be leveraged by the Fast Analytics teams, as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Integrates closely into the day-to-day of the functional areas, sitting in the ELT member's staff meeting where they will serve as an active participant.
  • Intimate knowledge of a specific operating area of the organization and are given authority to prioritize analyses, coordinate work products and represent the entirety of the organization in key forums.
  • Monitorsa detailed operating scorecard for their respective area that is automated and provides anomaly detection for outliers in key business metrics.
  • Diagnoses key deviations for expected performance and provides deep-dive analyses in support of answering the business questions/needs.
  • Coordinates with leaders across the company to collect and synthesize driver and insights information and identify business performance improvement opportunities through: KPI deep dives, customer interaction analysis and assigned task forces.
  • Prepares and presents executive-level analysis of data findings, including creating stories using PowerPoint to translate analytical results for an audience of business executives.
  • Communicates data nuances and insights to all levels of the company in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
  • Requires 3-5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in software engineering, mathematics, economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise performing data analytics utilizing Tableau, MicroStrategy, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Conducts multiple tasks in parallel. May serve as a technical lead for these tasks among more junior team members.
  • Requires little guidanceor supervision for straight-forward tasks. Requires some supervision for complex tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to perform well under pressure while handling multiple tasks, and ability to work a flexible schedule.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00-$126,684.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
