Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Assembler needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client L3Harris located in Henrietta, NY.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Assembler to perform a variety of assembly operations, including both manual and automated tasks. The role involves interpreting technical specifications and documents, and following established methods for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing. The assembler will make setups and adjustments to meet blueprint specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations.
- Interpret and comprehend technical specifications, terms, and documents.
- Follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
- Make setups and adjustments to meet blueprint tolerances.
- Identify and resolve straightforward problems and issues.
- Work under general supervision with moderate peer review.
- Receive less detailed instructions and work within identified boundaries and procedures.
- Communicate within the department to provide or obtain information, requiring explanation or interpretation.
- Follow established processes to complete tasks.
- Identify and escalate issues to supervisors for resolution.
- Achieve operational targets within the job area, impacting team results.
- Work on smaller, less structured tasks.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
- All offers are contingent to passing all pre-employment screenings/ drug testing this includes testing negative for marijuana.
Shifts & Payrates
- 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday from 5am- 3:30pm@ $17.50
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday from 3:30pm - 2am @ $ 19.25
- 3rd Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 6am -6:30pm @ $21.88
- 4th Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 6pm-6:30am a@ $23.63
- 2nd shift will require you to train on days for 2 weeks.
