Duties, Responsibilities & Other

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. This role will be responsible for managing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
  • 10+ years experience is preferred.
  • CPA is preferred but not required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting required. CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of related experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position
