Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Direct Hire Recruiter for our Blue Ash team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to market services to prospective customer companies and develop business relationships with those companies for the purpose of filling their search needs.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Strives to achieve two to three perm placements per month based on defined quota.
  • Solicits job orders from customers. Confers and consults with management, staff, and operations personnel to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
  • Recruits, screens, interviews, qualifies, and refers job candidates for permanent placement openings based on an understanding of predetermined criteria provided by the customer company.
  • Negotiates rates, payment schedules, and terms and conditions of the agreement with the customer under specific guidelines as established by the company.
  • Ensures written agreements containing all the agreed upon terms and conditions are prepared, delivered to the customer, and properly executed.
  • Develops recruitment programs to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings, researches customer company profiles to ensure accurate and realistic job descriptions and develops recruitment presentations. May include writing and posting advertising in various media.
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates, including a database of past placements.
  • Initiates contact with potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings, conducting telephone and personal interviews, baseline reference checking, and baseline education and skills verification.
  • Prepares applicants for interviews by providing customer background information, job descriptions, culture and environmental information, and business strategy.
  • Debriefs with customer company after applicant interview to determine job fit or match, to obtain more "qualifying information" for future applicants, or to schedule additional interviews.
  • Debriefs with applicants after interviews; discusses good points of the interview and areas of improvement and provides tips for closing the interview (thank you notes, etc.).
  • Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.

Competencies

Competencies we value for this role include ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, customer-service orientation, good skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, and an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment. We also desire 1 or more years of staffing experience and knowledge of employment law.
