The Benefits of Working at GHC-SCW. Under the direction, guidance and general supervision of the Language Services Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing interpreter services during face-to-face clinic visits as well as appointments completed via phone and video, along with outreach and follow-up to members for arranging appointments, interpretation, translation, and facilitating transportation. The incumbent provides backup support to Community Health, Patient Care Services, Member Services, Quality Management, Health Education and Disease Management programs, and the BadgerCare Plus/Medicaid Contract program to ensure that GHC-SCW meets clinical and service goals as well as the goals set forth in the DHSS-SHC Medicaid Contract. This position collaborates with community organizations in the Madison area, such as Latino Health Council, Centro Hispano, The Hmong Institute, Madison Metropolitan School District, and professional organizations like the Dane County Medical Interpreters Coalition.
