Schedule: 8am - 5pm Pay rate: $19 - $20/hr. Structural Welder responsibilities: This role requires following shop safety procedures, setting up equipment, and welding metal parts using gas and arc welding processes. Responsibilities include using cutting and carbon air torches for structural assembly and passing employer-required performance tests for certification. Maintaining a clean work environment and properly disposing of waste is essential. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor or manager as needed. Qualifications: Minimum two to four years of experience in welding fabrication of structural steel and verified structural weld test and/or demonstrated ability to perform basic skills according to testing requirements. Set up equipment and weld metal parts together, using both gas welding and any combination of arc welding processes. Use equipment such as cutting torch or carbon air torch to unite different parts of steel structure. We have tons of perks!
