We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Midland, TX to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of heavy machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our client's fleet, supporting operations in construction, transportation, or industrial projects.

Schedule: 8am - 5pm

Pay rate: $30 - $34 (Depending on experience)

Essential Tasks:

This role involves performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure reliability. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components while utilizing schematics and diagnostic tools for repairs. Accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities is essential, along with strong teamwork and a commitment to workplace safety. Candidates should be adaptable, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications/Technical Skills:



  • Heavy Equipment Operation-5 years minimum.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, and electronics systems.
  • Use of systems for work orders/material management.
  • Diagnostics experience.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • This is a Senior maintenance position- requiring reliability. Punctuality and time management are critical.


This is a direct hire position with benefits offered by our client including:
