Podcast and Virtual Event Studio Producer

Our global pharmaceutical client is looking for a Podcast and Virtual Event Studio Producer to support the organization's corporate training team. You would be responsible for managing the day to day production of two professional studios producing high-quality podcasts and virtual training events. You would be supporting the projects from start to finish. The role reports to a Studio Manager, who has expert level skills in studio technology and customer management, who will also qualify, manage and quantify requests. This is a growth area for the company with the possibilities to expand operations and capabilities. If you are passionate about all things audio/visual technology, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy regularly designing event set ups for optimal engagement.

Responsibilities:

Studio Operations:



  • Operate and maintain audio/visual equipment in two corporate studios to deliver high-definition (HD) podcasts and virtual training events.
  • Quickly troubleshoot equipment and technical issues during live events to ensure seamless production.
  • Proactively manage mobile studio set-ups for off-site or remote production needs.
  • Ensure studio is stocked with back-up or replacement equipment.


Customer Service:



  • Collaborate with reporting manager to design, produce, and execute engaging podcasts and training events.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and solution-oriented customer support before, during, and after events.


Equipment Management:



  • Move, store, and maintain studio equipment to ensure its functionality and condition.
  • Oversee the organization, distribution, and maintenance of home studio kits for remote stakeholders.


Creative Production: (Preferred but not required)



  • Assist in producing videos and other multimedia content to enhance communication and training initiatives.
  • Assist in developing defined processes and provide suggestions and feedback to management for improvement.


Virtual Production Expertise



  • Expertise and confidence producing small to large scale events in Teams and Zoom both in studio and as a remote producer. Proficient in breakout rooms, pre call settings, mic management, camera management.

    Administrative and Scheduling:


  • Coordinate studio schedules weekly with manager and adjust work hours to meet event production needs while adhering to a 40-hour work week.

    This is a long-term temporary assignment(1+ year) with potential for extension, potential conversion in future. This position does require to be onsite M-F and would be in the Mettawa office. There may be some travel to other locations within the area depending on business need.

    Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of experience with operating and maintaining audio visual equipment in studio environment
  • Experience with producing videos and other multimedia content
  • Strong client communication experience and dealing with diff clients/customers and internal teams
  • Demonstrated passion for working with professional audio/visual equipment for HD recording and broadcasting.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, setup, and operation of studio technology under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Be proficient in high-end camera, lighting and audio equipment RODE Caster, SHURE, RODE mics, ATEM, SONY HD Cameras, PTZ cameras (specific examples).
  • Experience working with meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams
