Sr. Java Full Stack Developer - Sr. Associate - 62776811

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kafka GITHUB Jenkins Springboot Microservices Java Webservices Java REST Web API Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns Java 11 Java 8 and Advanced Java. Experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Fullstack technologies.
• Implement and manage Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
• Utilize GITHUB for version control and collaborative development.
• Integrate Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Design and develop Springboot Microservices to ensure scalable and efficient application architecture.
• Create and maintain Java Webservices and Java REST Web API for seamless communication between services.
• Apply Java Design Patterns to solve common software design problems and enhance code maintainability.
• Work with Java 11 and Java 8 to develop robust and efficient applications.
• Leverage Advanced Java skills to optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth application operation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in Kafka GITHUB Jenkins Springboot Microservices Java Webservices Java REST Web API Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns Java 11 Java 8 and Advanced Java.
• Experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.
• Should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Should be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Must be able to adapt to a hybrid work model and manage day shift schedules effectively.
• Should have a proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new technologies.

Certifications Required

Certified Java Developer Spring Professional Certification Apache Kafka Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until February 21, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
