Job Description: Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a ADU Technician to join our Manufacturing department based in Mobile, AL The ADU technician is responsible for providing technical and mechanical support to the ADU shop. The technician will set and implement Automatic Drilling Units in collaboration with the Station 40 manager. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Physical Requirements: * Vision: Adequate to enter and read material on computer screens or controls on machines, lathes, etc. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, giving of directions, and other business interactions * Hearing: Able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals. * Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying sizes with or without amplification. * Equipment Operation: Able to operate a personal computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors. * Carrying: Able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg while engaging in training, addressing production issues, or as part of continuous improvement * Lifting: Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs/23kg. * Pushing/Pulling: Able to push/pull items in office areas and on the shop * Sitting: Able to sit for extended periods of time at the computer and in * Squatting/Kneeling: Able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom * Standing: Able to stand for extended periods of time while * Travel/Mobility: Able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time and on short * Walking: Able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips, and sometimes on uneven indoor or outdoor surfaces other business interactions Take your career to a new level and apply online now!
