Department OverviewThe HR Talent Development Team supports our global population of employees and works together with HR Business Partners to deliver valuable talent tools and processes that enable the continued development of talent across the business including training, leadership programs and talent management processes. NOTE: This is a hybrid role - Candidate must reside in the Chicagoland area with the ability to work from the Chicago, IL office as needed.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Talent Development Intern to provide critical support to our global Talent Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of talent management, from event planning and administrative support to data analysis and process improvement. You will be working alongside experienced professionals, contributing to impactful initiatives and gaining valuable skills for a future career in HR or talent management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for various talent programs, including: managing event logistics (dinner/event reservations, calendar invitations, ordering supplies, reviewing contracts) and coordinating with the Events team to ensure seamless execution of talent initiatives.

  • Assist in the management of our learning systems, host occasional virtual training sessions, and support communication efforts related to manager training programs.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of global annual talent processes (performance management, 9-box), enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of tools and processes.

  • Collaborate with our HR People Analytics team to create insightful talent reports and data visualizations.

  • Provide administrative support to our mentoring program, working with the vendor to manage relationships and contracts utilizing the mentor portal.

  • Partner with our Worldwide Education team to expand the usage of our enterprise LinkedIn Learning license across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

  • Confident speaking and presenting to groups.

  • Ability to commute to our Chicago office to support in-person Talent initiatives.

Basic Requirements
  • High School Diploma is required

  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date of December 2025 or later

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
