Sr. DevOps Engineer Cognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to build new value, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy. Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on cloud platforms. Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline processes. Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Develop and maintain configuration management solutions. Ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based applications and data. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development test and production environments. Optimize system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices. Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes. Conduct regular system audits and implement improvements based on findings. Qualifications Possess strong knowledge of cloud concepts and their application in a DevOps environment. Demonstrate proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks. Have a deep understanding of DevOps concepts and methodologies. Show experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible Puppet or Chef. Exhibit familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Display strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model. Show experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Demonstrate knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack. Possess a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. Show experience with version control systems like Git. Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Have a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 02/24/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $97,000 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
