AWS Senior Cloud Engineer

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer for a full-time opportunity. This is a remote role. The candidate can be located anywhere in the USA and must have valid work authorization.

The salary range for this role is between $116,000 to $131,000 depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate.

The AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Terraform and experience in either Azure or AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments in Azure or AWS.
• Implement and maintain containerized applications using containerization technologies
• (Preferred) Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Ensure cloud security, scalability, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve cloud solutions.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have 5 or more years of experience with the following technologies.

• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• (Preferred) Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
