Responsibilities

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center, is a 182-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Oakland Park, neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Fort Lauderdale Behavioral features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year. FLBHC provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic services to children, adolescents, and adults, including:

  • 24/7 Clinical Assessment Center
  • Inpatient Hospitalization
  • Inpatient Program Residential Treatment Facility and Partial Hospitalization Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services

We are currently looking for a ASSISTANT CHIEF NURSING OFFICER

The ASSISTANT CHIEF NURSING OFFICER is responsible and accountable for all patient care delivered in the facility. This includes all care given in all departments, areas and services. The ACNO has 24 hour accountability.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

  • Graduate from and accredited school of Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, Master's preferred
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent

Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in Psychiatric and/or Chemical Dependency care.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as nursing supervisor.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Florida State Registered Nurse License
  • Current Florida Driver's License
  • Current CPR Certification. ACLS certification preferred
