Overview

Account Executive, Clinical, serves as a direct link between the infusion company and its clients. May work in a sales capacity, securing new business and maintaining customer relationships, or inherit an account after the initial sale has been made, providing ongoing support and serving as a primary point of contact. AE, Clinical, also supports and assists physicians, social workers, ICM and other referral sources to facilitate appropriate home infusion candidates being discharged from area hospitals. Conducts initial infusion set-up (patient hook-up of infusion pump at bedside) and patient/caregiver education on infusion therapy services and technology prior to discharge.

Goal is to grow the infusion business by recognizing opportunities to expand relationships through existing referral sources and cultivate new opportunities within the medical community. Also responsible for working alongside clinical operations to manage the patient's transition from hospital to home. Provide infusion educational in-services for our Home Health, Hospice and Facility partners. Implement sales and marketing strategies to grow core business and align with meeting budgeted goals. Identify contract negotiating opportunities in supporting core infusion referrals to become new starts. Provide Alternate Site Infusion services expertise to hospital, MDs, HHA, Hospice and facilities, including frequent client interaction and communication. Provide individual Core Therapy goals and map out plan of action to attain customers.

Education

  • 3 year RN program OR Associates OR Bachelor's or Master's (Required)

Certification/Licensure

  • BLS (Required)

  • RN (Required)

Experience

  • Clinical Nursing (2 years +)

  • Customer Service (3 years +)

  • Home Infusion

  • Sales Experience
