Facilities Maintenance Technician, Experienced

As an Experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Facilities Site Manager in Monroeville, PA and you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including: HVAC, Chillers, Boilers, Mechanical Systems, and General Building Maintenance. You will provide expert-level service to ensure the comfort and safety for the facilities' occupants, colleagues, and customers. Your duties will include troubleshooting and diagnosing various system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance. Should have a general working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, steam systems & chilled water systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and refrigeration units.

• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify system malfunctions and inefficiencies.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.

• Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance projects.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide exceptional customer service.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration.

• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Lift and carry up to 50lbs.

• Work within confined spaces and at heights.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
