Director, Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• As a key member of the leadership team, defines the company's vision and strategy, while promoting and communicating this vision to set objectives, department goals, schedules, and priorities across all reporting functions.
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Builds and leads high-performing teams, leveraging diverse skills and perspectives to achieve shared goals.
• Profitably grow the Plant, establishing and tracking performance goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Works with internal and external customers to promote and leverage Company technologies, systems, products, services and processes.
• Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
• Focuses on increasing production, assessment of capacity, and increased flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining current high-quality standards.
• Leverages personal insights to actively promote and support a robust Continuous Improvement program.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing environment with senior management experience; progressive experience in precision manufacturing environment with equipment, materials, processes and systems.
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment, Kaizen manufacturing, Six Sigma certification, ISO9000, AS9100.
