Snowflake is seeking an Industry Principal, Media, Entertainment & Advertising - Marketing Technology to join our Industry Sales Go-to-Market team. In this role, you will work with our Field Sales teams to develop and close new business for targeted accounts within the Marketing Technology sub-vertical. You will act as a visionary, innovative industry expert and apply your successful track record of building, overseeing and developing enterprise software go-to-market strategies for leading Marketing Technology customers.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
  • Develop account strategies, build trusted relationships and present Snowflake's vision for the industry to our most strategic Marketing Technology accounts

  • Build strategic relationships across the Marketing Technology ecosystem including customers, partners, data providers and MarTech & AdTech platforms

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and drive a cohesive Marketing Technology go-to-market strategy

  • Create and deploy an enablement strategy to build a strong foundation of Marketing Technology knowledge within the organization

  • Collaborate with our product teams to deliver industry-specific capabilities and drive Snowflake's Marketing Technology product vision into the market

  • Partner with product marketing teams to drive industry awareness and pipeline development within the Marketing Technology space

  • Guide solution and sales play creation to enable sales, sales engineers, pre-sales and customer success teams

  • Collaborate with partner and alliance teams to identify, recruit and enable industry-specific system integrators and technology partners in the MarTech industry

  • Develop industry thought leadership content on the business impact of the Data Cloud in the Marketing Technology space

  • Deliver industry-leading perspectives at industry events to create understanding of and excitement for the tangible benefits of Data Cloud among MarTech business executives

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • 15+ years of industry experience selling, consulting or implementing technology for the MarTech industry

  • Expertise across a broad set of marketing technologies including CDPs, Data Clean Rooms, Marketing Automation, Analytics Platforms and Customer Experience tools

  • Well-versed in the key challenges and opportunities impacting Marketing Technology including privacy regulations, personalization strategies, omnichannel marketing and customer data unification

  • Experience with C-level engagement and proven ability to quickly establish credibility

  • Undergraduate degree (advanced degree preferred)

  • Senior leadership experience with ability to build followership through trust vs. authority

  • Strong problem-solving and team motivation skills

  • A results-oriented mindset and crisp communication style

  • Ability to travel

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $222,000 - $316,800.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
