With a strong focus on VMware virtualization, networking, and system administration, this role is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on setting. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will work alongside highly skilled IT professionals to design, manage, and maintain a robust virtualized and networked infrastructure. You will have opportunities to enhance your technical expertise while supporting enterprise technology. This role is ideal an individual passionate about server architecture, virtualization, and IT security, offering both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. How you will contribute: Design, deploy, and manage VMware environments Optimize and maintain server infrastructure to support business operations Oversee computer provisioning, patch management, and system updates Implement and monitor backup strategies to ensure business continuity Document infrastructure processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures Support and maintain network security components, including firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols Build high availability, performance, and scalability of systems Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and: Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and maintain operational excellence Commitment to documenting processes and improving system efficiencies Minimum Qualifications: 3 years or more of experience in IT infrastructure, specializing in virtualized environments Associate degree or Equivalent Industry Experience Strong foundation in networking and hardware design Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and general network security best practices Preferred Qualifications 5 years or more of experience in IT infrastructure, specializing in VMware Experience with provisioning computers, patch management, and system security Familiarity with VMware Horizons and remote desktop solutions Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA #LI-CLTSP, #LI-CLTU #LI-GM1
