Position Type: Temporary
Job Summary: We are seeking a Clerk to assist with a current backlog of mailing out hardcopy claims to payors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing Epic notes, pulling necessary medical records, and ensuring accurate documentation of claim details. Key Responsibilities: * Review Epic notes to determine the required attachments for each claim. * Pull and organize medical records needed for claims. * Input clear notes detailing the payor information, claim dates of service (DOS), and charges. * Mail claims to payors, including sending some claims by certified mail. Qualifications: * Familiarity with Epic notes and medical records. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to input clear and accurate notes. * Experience with mailing processes, including certified mail. Additional Information: This is a temporary position aimed at addressing a backlog of claims. The role requires a diligent and detail-oriented individual who can manage the mailing process efficiently. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
