Summary of Job Description:

The Compensation Analyst position is responsible for administering and implementing the company's Operations short-term incentive programs, including Special Concepts. The position also works on improving Operations bonus processes, including automation, communication, compliance, and plan enhancements. This role supports Operators with their bonus and compensation communication, inquiries, and requests. The Compensation Analyst, with minimal supervision, assists in a variety of HR and Compensation related projects and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Administers the Operations bonus programs and contributes to enhancing their design.Ensures accurate and timely processing of bonus payments across various programs, including but not limited to Quarterly Bonus and all Special Concept Bonus plans.
  • Conducts compensation benchmarking, analyzes financial impact, and provides recommendations for improving bonus programs.
  • Supports the Operations bonus programs by responding to Operator inquiries, performing administrative functions related to the bonus systems, and reviews all bonus exceptions requested by different partners.
  • Assists in enhancing the Operations compensation processes and ensures compliance.Works with IS on automating the Operations bonus process. Partners with stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, and Ops Team on plan enhancements.
  • Generates regular and ad-hoc reports/dashboards to monitor compensation program effectiveness, compensation metrics, and bonus distribution.
  • Assists in a variety of Compensation projects and system enhancements, including but not limited to forecasting bonus models, Workday System enhancement, new compensation program, and communication roll-out plans.

Qualifications - External

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; CCP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience with a focus on HR and Compensation, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment.
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P2: $72,500- $101,500 per year

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
