BASIC FUNCTION (Primary Purpose):

Build models and perform analysis with advanced Analytics techniques delivering models and extract relevant data to solve analytical problems. Good understand of descriptive statistical modeling and algorithms, Machine learning algorithms, Modeling dataset building, Optimization, Data visualization, Pattern, cluster, segmentation analysis.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

%	Description of duty/responsibility
80%	Performs research, analysis, and modeling on organizational data. Ensure Analytics model quality assurance and validate them (peer validation) Develops and applies algorithms or models to key business metrics with the goal of improving operations or answering business questions Define model monitoring criteria Provides findings and analysis for use in decision making
20%	Develop Analytics best practices (models, standards, tools) Manage Analytics project pipeline and track Analytics impact on business Monitor market Manage idea generation for patent development

SCOPE:

Mines and analyzes complex and unstructured data sets using advanced statistical methods for use in data driven decision making. design, build and implement analytical solutions. Work closely with project teams and act as a Data Science & Advanced Analytics expert. Overall role in helping to drive global improvements based on qualitative data and by investigating various topics and sharing insights to a broader audience.

Qualifications and Educational requirement(s):

Bachelor's degree in a related area and 3 years of experience
Extensive knowledge of industry perspective and ability to translate business needs into data
Analytical skills
Descriptive statistical modeling and algorithms, Machine learning algorithms, Modeling dataset building, Optimization, Data visualization, Pattern, cluster, segmentation analysis
Experience with analytical tools and languages - E.g. Python, SageMaker, R, SAS, Java, C, C++, C#, Matlab, SPSS IBM, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Qlikview, Rapid Miner, Visual Basic, Apache, Pig, Spotfire, Micro S, SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL language or SQL-like
