Reasonable Accommodation Analyst Assistant

This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance to be considered.

These positions support DRAD Reasonable Accommodation Analysts (RAA) by handling administrative tasks and coordination logistics for accommodation requests.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Reasonable Accommodation Analyst Assistant: 95000 - 105000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Reasonable Accommodation Analyst Assistant Responsibilities Include:



  • Provide administrative support for processing reasonable accommodation requests.
  • Serve as the initial contact for the reasonable accommodation inbox, assigning requests to analysts.
  • Enter case information, conduct analysis, and provide reports.
  • Conduct research on assistive technology and ergonomic products, organizing recommendations for analysts.
  • Contact vendors for equipment quotes, maintain vendor files, and track procurement orders.
  • Provide comprehensive delivery updates to stakeholders and note the case files.
  • Assist in delivering or shipping assistive technology equipment and ergonomic products to clients located in different buildings/annexes for the RA analysts and when possible and necessary, provide assistance with the installation.
  • Test and maintain inventory of accountable property (i.e. accommodation equipment, ergonomic products, motorized scooters.) briefing the RA analysts of any defects, repairs, or replacements that may be necessary.
  • Track inventory of all accountable property and update inventory records on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Provide feedback/input on different stages in the reasonable accommodation process for performance quality reviews.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Reasonable Accommodation Analyst Assistant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of Government experience.
  • A Top-Secret security clearance is required and may be upgraded to TS/SCI if necessary.
  • Department of State experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in office automation software (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access) and communication platforms (MS Teams, WebEx, Zoom for Government, etc.).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • English Language proficiency both spoken and in writing across multiple linguistic registers and the ability to match and/or capture the necessary register.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills; ability to draft official documents quickly.
  • Understanding of the Department's correspondence and clearance process and the ability to draft and clear Department Notices, Cables, and Memorandum for outside approval.
  • Working knowledge of Government Travel authorization program (Travel Manager) desirable.
  • Knowledge preparing travel authorizations is desirable. This includes trip itinerary, expenses estimate (M&IE costs, taxi, hotel costs, etc.); and prepares travel authorization request.
  • Ability to process/review incoming and outgoing letters, memos, and related correspondence.
  • Understanding of procurement, property management principles and practices.
  • Experience in reviewing incoming correspondence incoming and outgoing letters, memorandum, and related correspondence it with necessary information or instructions to the appropriate offices for action.
  • Demonstrates extensive responsibility, experience, and ability to working independently taking initiative on office projects.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
