We are seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to support a DoD cross-functional software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and hardware configuration management, agile methodologies, and a passion for optimizing development and change management processes. The Configuration Management Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are built, tested, and deployed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. You will work closely with multiple product leads to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility.

• Manage and maintain configuration management (CM) processes, tools, and best practices in an agile environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including configuration managers, developers, Product, Systems and QA engineers, to define and implement configuration management strategies.
• Coordinate agenda and documents in support of the Configuration Control Board
• Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to product leads to automate build, deployment, and release processes using CI/CD tools and frameworks.
• Monitor and manage version control systems, ensuring proper branching, merging, and tagging practices are followed.
• Conduct regular audits of configuration items to ensure compliance with established standards and practices.
• Provide training and support to team members on configuration management tools and processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data management practices and recommend solutions.

Required

• BS or BA degree
• 3 years of experience in configuration management, data management, data analysis, or related role.
• Experience in software configuration management, preferably in an agile environment.
• Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
