Job Description

General Summary:

The Package EngineeringSenior Specialist possesses a robust level of packaging understanding. This role is a key technical resource, utilizing technical expertise to resolve issues and continuously improve the manufacturing packaging process. This role works collaboratively with stakeholders, and has the ability to understand and communicate results to effectively address project needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recognized as a technical resource within the packaging team
  • Assess process performance and identifies opportunities for process improvement
  • Generates and reviews technical protocols and reports
  • Develops solid working relationships with relevant technical individuals or teams at contract manufacturing sites
  • Supports process performance and troubleshoots manufacturing issues at contract manufacturing sites
  • Complies with all Quality, Regulatory, Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to proactively and collaboratively resolve issues

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask to effectively manage multiple activities and projects
  • Ability to collaborate with and communicate results to relevant stakeholders
  • Understanding of principles and practice of cGMP's and associated CMC regulatory considerations in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Ability to travel domestic and international (approximately 20%)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical, Material Engineering, or a relevant discipline
  • Typically requires 2 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

$98,000 - $147,000

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
2. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
