Your Job Flint Hills Resources is hiring for an Analyzer Technician to join the maintenance group at our refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas! Analyzer Technicians carry out all aspects of maintenance, modification, calibration and testing of analyzer instruments. You will assist and perform reliable analyzer maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting (self-planned and scheduled). With your skills as an analyzer technician, you will watch out for equipment failures and perform preventative maintenance to ensure things stay in good working order. You'll get to improve existing process analyzer systems while working with others on your team. Part of your work will also be to repair any part of the process analyzer loop. This includes components of the sample systems (tubing, valves, fittings) when needed. Our Team We are a team of hardworking tradespeople that thrive on keeping our equipment running and calibrated. What You Will Do * Assist Analyzer Technicians with troubleshooting, configuring, and teardown/rebuilding of process analyzers * Suggest and develop PM and repair optimization ideas. Maintain shop documentation * Perform Analyzer Mechanical Integrity testing and Perform Cylinder Gas Audits * Identify training needs and take a lead role in obtaining training approved with Analyzer craft lead Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Associate of Applied Science in instrumentation. --OR-- * Minimum two years of experience as an instrumentation or analyzer technician working in live process units at a refining, chemical, or power plant * Mechanical skills * Valid US Driver's License At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
