What You'll Do: As an Enterprise Cloud Engineer, you will:



  • Develop, communicate, and regularly update a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with business goals and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments that meet compliance requirements and enable high availability.
  • Establish automation tools and DevOps practices to reduce manual processes, increase deployment speed, and improve system reliability.
  • Operate a Cloud Center of Excellence, providing best practices, mentorship, and governance across IT teams.
  • Design and deploy cloud services and architectures using an infrastructure-as-code approach to ensure repeatability and control.
  • Architect cloud environments with redundancy and tested disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Support cross-functional teams with expert guidance on cloud technologies, enabling modern application design and delivery.
  • Resolve critical incidents and service disruptions efficiently, sharing lessons learned and incorporating them into continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure cloud implementations meet or exceed compliance standards (e.g., FFIEC, NCUA), reducing audit risk and ensuring data protection.


    What We're Looking For:



    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
    • Five years or more of applicable professional experience in cloud engineering or a combination of applicable work experience, education, and technical certification.
    • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
    • Demonstrated technical acumen in cloud architecture, identity and access management, networking, automation, and DevOps tooling.
    • Working knowledge of application architecture, API integrations, networking, and security design.
    • Proficiency with scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Experience with cloud service platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and O365.
    • Experience monitoring cloud spend and implementing cost optimization strategies aligned with FinOps principles.
    • Familiarity with IAM tools like Entra ID, Okta, and SAML providers.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and educate stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proven ability to manage cloud service providers and vendor relationships.
    • Experience leading major cloud or digital transformation projects.

    Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
