We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Financial Analyst will provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case support to the PMA-280 FMS Team.

Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Demonstrates experience in the program/project status and schedules. Demonstrated training/knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life- cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series). Demonstrates experience processing program acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs. Supports training efforts through the integration of documents into Government databases. Completes travel orders in accordance with JTR regulations. Performs tasks under supervision.

Duties:



  • Perform financial management support including development of pre-case pricing data; preparation and execution of financial documents in the various case management and financial systems; providing financial analysis of FMS, potential FMS and ICDP programs; tracking funds commitments, obligations and expenditures; assisting in the development and presentation of financial briefing materials; developing and maintaining a financial status report; and reconciling FMS cases in preparation for closure.


Required Experience: Three (3) to ten (10) years of relevant experience

Required Education: Associate's degree in Program Management, Technical, or Business analysis discipline. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently. Three (3) years additional relevant work experience may be substitutefor an Associate's Degree

Desired Experience: FMS experience preferred. Experience related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management. A demonstrated working knowledge of DOD SAP policies and procedures relating to FMS is required. Experience in identifying programmatic requirements for FMS agreements and responding to Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), Price and Availability (P&A), Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $44,054 to $115,325.33 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
