Position: Production Supervisor

Location: Bloomingdale, GA.

Pay: $52k/yr.



** Must be able to work a either a 12-hour shift (6:30pm-6:30am) or 8-hour shift (3:30pm-11:30pm). **


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in injection molding or automotive parts production.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, managing production teams and operations.
  • Strong understanding of precision injection molding processes and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Proficient with production management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.




Job Overview:
The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of the production line for precision injection molded automotive parts. This leadership role involves supervising and motivating a team of production employees, ensuring the highest quality standards are met, optimizing production efficiency, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection molding, leadership experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Operations:


    • Supervise daily production activities to ensure that production goals, standards, and deadlines are met.
    • Oversee the operation, setup, and maintenance of injection molding machines and other manufacturing equipment.
    • Monitor production processes to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
    • Ensure that production schedules are adhered to and adjust as necessary to meet customer demands and operational needs.


  • Team Leadership:


    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of machine operators, assemblers, and technicians.
    • Provide ongoing training, support, and coaching to ensure employees perform at their best and understand their roles.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages team engagement and high morale.


  • Safety and Compliance:


    • Enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a safe work environment for all employees.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, ensuring that all workers are trained on safety standards and the proper use of equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with all company, local, and international regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.


  • Process Improvement:


    • Continuously evaluate production processes and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize machine performance.
    • Lead and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
    • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve production issues and improve machine reliability.


  • Reporting and Documentation:


    • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and inventory.
    • Prepare and present daily/weekly production reports for upper management.
    • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and execution of production goals.
