Hourly Pay Range:

$67.98 - $105.37 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Summary:

As the Director of IT Business Operations at Endeavor Health, you will lead and shape essential operational functions across the Information Technology department, including Service Delivery, Financial Management, Audit and Compliance, Technology Enablement, Training, and Communications. This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring the effective performance, driving adherence to IT processes, compliance standards, and service excellence.

A key responsibility of this role is to establish and oversee robust financial management practices for the Information Technology budget. You will ensure alignment with corporate financial guidelines and industry best practices, enabling fiscal transparency, accountability, and strategic resource allocation across all IT initiatives. This role requires leading and overseeing the IT Service Delivery operations to ensure compliance with service level agreements, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Establish and maintain business continuity strategies that align internal IT practices with external business unit requirements across Endeavor Health.

You will also lead the development and execution of IT audit programs, enforce policy and procedure compliance, and guide business continuity planning across the department. In addition, you will direct the IT Training, Technology Enablement, and Communications team to promote readiness, adoption, and awareness of technology changes and process improvements.

This position requires a visionary leader with exceptional strategic, operational, and interpersonal skills that can advance the IT department forward while fostering a culture of innovation, fiscal discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What you will do:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the IT Service Delivery team, ensuring operational excellence, process adherence, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Establish and maintain departmental standards for service delivery, financial management, audit and compliance, and executive communications.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of IT audit programs, including internal controls, risk assessments, and compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Oversee business continuity planning and execution across the IT department, ensuring resilience and preparedness for operational disruptions.
  • Direct the IT Training, Technology Enablement, and Communications team to support successful adoption of new technologies, processes, and solutions.
  • Drive end-to-end lifecycle management of assigned IT solutions, including planning, deployment, optimization, and support.
  • Collaborate with domain leaders and stakeholders to understand strategic business needs and translate them into actionable technology solutions.
  • Participate in governance committees to prioritize initiatives, manage workload, and align resources effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure solutions meet or exceed organizational expectations.
  • Mentor and manage direct reports, overseeing activities such as budgeting, policy development, talent acquisition, stakeholder engagement, and governance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends; promote the adoption of relevant innovations through participation in professional organizations such as HIMSS, CHIME, Epic UGM/XGM, and VMWare World.
  • Collaborate across IT and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of overlapping functions and measurable outcomes.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent work experience. (Master's Degree preferred)
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundations
  • Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years ofexperience in managing processes, applications, or systems in a healthcare setting or relevant related industries.
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience as defined as essential to the role.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic planning capabilities
  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery frameworks and compliance standards
  • Expertise in IT audit methodologies and business continuity planning
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
